Shawl by Pat C from Surry England
Pat knitted this shawl, Anice from a Rowan book, for her daughter to wear at her son's wedding.  The bride loved it so much she wanted one too!

"I am 82 and have been knitting since I was 4 years old, including when I served in the WAAF during the war, and was sitting with earphones on (wireless operator),  In those days wool was on coupons, but I was able to obtain Navy, Khaki and air forces blue wool without coupons, and made Balaclavas, mitts and scarves for the forces.  I would be lost without a pair of knitting needles in my hands."

While I have knitted for grandchildren, my main effort now is directed toward great-grandchildren!"

Sweater by Nancy V from CA,USA
Nancy knitted this sweater using Jo Sharp DK wool.

"Thanks to the miracle of the internet I was able to make this sweater.  I found the Mustard colour while on holidays, but couldn't find the extra colours for this sweater anywhere.  I found Ozeyarn and my problems were solved.  You were so nice and helpful, and it was really cheaper than buying it retail here in the US"

Socks by Ruth L from CA, USA
Ruth knitted these socks using Heirloom 4ply Cotton.

"I love making socks, but here in southern California wool socks are too warm, so when I found the Heirloom Cotton from Ozeyarn I got really excited! And I'm still excited about it., just wishing it cam in darker colours too!  So Soft!  And the memory is unbelievable.
I have been knitting for 65 years, all kinds of knitting, love a challenge and right now I am heavy into lace knitting, and love it!"

Slippers by Anna G from NSW Australia

" I've found the most comfortable pair of slippers to knit that only take a few hours to knit and less than 100g of yarn.
The pattern is called "Two Yarn Slippers" from "The Wheel" Ashford NZ yearly magazine for members issue 18 2006.
I used 8ply yarn with 4.5mm needles and 2 pure wools.  The way you knit them, by slipping stitches on 6 rows, so that you create ridges of yarn on the inside, making a cushioning effect."
